Unbelievable.

The horse I was taking lessons on, the Thoroughbred had to be put down just last weekend. He had coliced and had complications. I was the last person to ride him, it just feels so weird. Just a week ago he was sound and happy but now he's gone.

I'm not sure about the status of my lessons. But I'm not going to push it seeing as that was her horse and I'm sure she's taking it really hard.

RIP Beau.

oh. that's depressing. good luck and cry it out. we almost lost a mare awhile back. even though i was in public, i just started bauling after i hung up the phone. :] not much consolation, but there will be others. :glomp:

yeah. i agree though, even the shortest amount of time can make all the difference. a friend of mine lost a mare a while back, and even though i had barely met her, she was a great loss.
